A 37th-minute goal from David Carehill condemned Steeton to defeat in Division Two of  the West Riding County Amateur League this afternoon.
Manager Clark O'Dwyer said: "I was proud of the lads because we had a makeshift team.
"But we have players coming back and look forward to the challenge away at Campion next Friday."
