Steeton supporter Norman Rhodes has responded to the request for more information about the Haworth Playing Fields team which appeared on Keighley Kicks last week.

Keighley Kicks columnist Glyn Smith remembers the two Hartley brothers and said: "I don't recall the team myself because I was attending Highfield School at the time and most of my "footy mates" lived in Keighley. Also the lads look a bit younger than me.
"But I did play with both Steve Hartley and Peter Hartley in a Haworth senior side some years later.
"Steve, funnily enough I saw for the first time in years only a couple of weeks ago. He's working as a courier these days.
"One of the most memorable things about Steve, apart from being an excellent player (sweeper in his later years) was that his kit never needed washing after a game. He just never went to ground.
"Peter was the Rory Delap of the 70s. I remember scoring a hat-trick in the first half of one game from his throw-ins. He just launched them over the opposition defence and I ran in behind and "toe-poked" them past a stranded keeper.
"They just couldn't seem to work it out!"
